A blog is born

Hello and welcome the opening, the inaugural and generally awesome first post here on Sonic Rantings. A blog dedicated to...well whatever I want to talk about really, from films to books to computer science to the stories I write to the occasional outbreak of politics. My often incoherent and woefully misinformed (at least thats what I'm told) ramblings shall hopefully turn out to be a not entirely uninteresting read.
